After deciding to sell James Holt International several years ago, Holt stepped back from the relentless pace of the fashion cycle for the first time since he started his career and traveled the world to reignite his passion. He found it on the summit of Mt. Blanc, the tallest peak in western Europe. Holt describes his mountaineering experience as one of danger, beauty and legacy, qualities that became the cornerstone of the brand. JH brings these artistic ideals to life by blending craftsmanship with function and safety with comfort, which results in pieces that are both luxurious and utile. While he believed his mountaineering experience was transformative, Holt says JH is his greatest adventure yet.
